FKIP — The Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program Student Association (HMP Democratia) Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Student Creativity Program Workshop (PKM) on Saturday (24/12/2022). The workshop was held online using the Zoom Meeting application with the theme “Exploring Student Potential and Creativity in the Context of Creating a Superior Generation”.
Moderated by Regina Sekar Pambayun as a student from the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) FKIP UNS, this workshop presented a resource person. The resource person is Iksan Riva Nanda. He is an Achievement Student (Mawapres) FKIP UNS 2022. This year, he won a gold medal in the 2022 World Science Engineering and Environment Competition and a silver medal in the PKM-PI field in the 35th Pimnas event at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).

In his presentation, Iksan presented material entitled “Student Creativity Program: Motivation, Strategy, and Tips”. This material contains the Urgency of PKM, PKM Semantics, Definition of PKM, Benefits of PKM, PKM Paradigm, and Types of PKM. He explained that
“This PKM is one of the research which is expected to be able to create something that reaps benefits. This is almost the same as the achievement for postgraduate or Masters level students. So that undergraduate students can have the abilities that master students should have, this can be done by stealing start. PKM has a long stage in which S-1 students usually cannot go beyond this ability. Steal this start needed to find a new theory, “explained Iksan.
Furthermore, he also shared tips on how to make the proposed PKM successfully pass the funding. He appealed to the preparation of the PKM proposal to be adjusted to the guidelines and have the same perception as the reviewer.
“PKM that passes the funding is a PKM with an orderly administration. Avoid administrative errors, such as margin requirements, 1.5 spacing, page numbers, and table of contents. Such administrative provisions are assessed by the PKM Center. Another factor in order to qualify for funding is that there is a common perception of reviewers. This can be done with a national reviewer approach, then looking at the Youtube platform regarding the socialization of funding. Proposals should be enjoyed by reviewers, informative, and have solutions,” said Iksan.
Finally, he also shared tips so that PKM proposals could pass the National Student Science Week (PIMNAS). He said that there were two things that needed to be considered in preparing his proposal.
“What tips do you need to pay attention to so that the proposal can pass PIMNAS? Can do this two ways. First, make a proposal that meets the criteria that have passed PIMNAS. Second, ask for a minimum of five revisions from lecturers and seniors who have participated in Pimnas,” concluded Iksan.
After the presentation of the material, the activity continued with a question and answer session and ended with a joint documentation session.
