FKIP – Friday (11/ 12/2022), the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held an FKIP Family Arts and Creativity Performance to commemorate Heroes’ Day offline in the Hall of Building F FKIP UNS and broadcast live on Semar TV’s YouTube account.

There were 10 art activists who participated in the performance, including the Keroncong Team for Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program (PGSD) FKIP UNS, the Karawitan Team for Regional Arts Development Unit (UPKD) FKIP UNS, vocals by Julia Dwi Puspita Study Program Student ( Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) Kebumen FKIP UNS and Ziva Valentina, a student of English Education Study Program, as well as a single organ by 2 Students of Special Education Study Program (PLB), namely Prasetyo Nugroho and Frema Maresta Aulia.

The next performance was presented by the UPKD FKIP UNS Dance Team who performed the Gambyong Pareanom Dance and Perfomance Art from Fine Arts Education Students (PSR) with the title Amorfati. Then, art performances were also presented, namely the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Dance Team (PG PAUD) FKIP UNS who performed the Dolanan Kukusan Dance, and the Vox Magistra Choir Team.

Apart from art performances, FKIP UNS also gave appreciation to FKIP UNS students who had made achievements. The first appreciation was given to students who succeeded in winning the 2022 Annual Student Education Festival (Festa) Communication Forum (Forkom) for State FKIP Leaders throughout Indonesia. Yulandari from the Language Education Study Program (Prodi). and Indonesian Literature (PBSI) which won 3rd place in the Indonesian Language Debate Competition category. The second appreciation was given to Nuri Puji Hastuti from the PBSI Study Program who also won 1st place in the Poster Competition category.

The third appreciation was given to Murtiningsih Aprilia Putri and Adlina Nur Azri from the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) who won 3rd place in the English Debate Competition category. Further appreciation was given to Muhammad Hilmi Sabitul Azmi from Office Administration Education (PAP) who won 1st place in the English Language Presenter Competition category.

Meanwhile, the next appreciation given was the 2nd place winner in the Learning Media Competition category which was won by Aulia Akhmad Fahreza and Putriana Dafa Puspitawati from the Surakarta Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD). Finally, FKIP UNS also gave appreciation to the 1st winner in the Scientific Writing Competition category by Alifta Nurillah Kosasih from the Mathematics Education Study Program.

In addition to appreciation for the Forkom winner, appreciation was also given to the Student Creativity Program Team (PKM) of the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program (PTM) who succeeded in getting the PKM Silver Medal for the Application of Science and Technology (PI) in the 2022 National Student Science Week (Pimnas). They are Puthut Alfi Syahri Kurniawan, Ramanda Ridho Barokah, Muhammad Iqbal Amar, Dwi Yudha Meydiansyah, and Iksan Riva Nanda with Danar Susilo Wijayanto, ST, M.Eng. as supervising lecturer.

At the appreciation session, Dr. Mardiyana conveyed his congratulations and gratitude for his dedication to bringing the good name of the institution through achievements. He hopes that this achievement will motivate other students so that FKIP UNS can maintain and improve their achievements in the following years.

Congratulations also to the PKM FKIP UNS Team for bringing home the Silver Medal for PKM Application of Science and Technology (PI) in the 2022 National Student Science Week.
