FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta received a visit from the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) of the University of Borneo Tarakan (UBT) on Thursday (8/12/2022). The visit was carried out by FKIP UBT to take part in Technical Guidance at FKIP UNS which took place in Meeting Room I of the Soemarno Building, FKIP UNS.

The UBT FKIP group consisted of the UBT FKIP Dean and UBT FKIP Administrative Staff. This visit was welcomed by the Dean of FKIP UNS, FKIP UNS Leaders, and the Administrative Staff of FKIP UNS.

Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., as the Dean of FKIP UNS gave a glimpse of FKIP UNS.

“In FKIP UNS there are 48 Study Programs consisting of 27 Undergraduate Study Programs, 17 Masters Study Programs (S2), 5 Doctoral Study Programs (S3), and the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) which has 24 fields of study in it. FKIP UNS has campus locations outside Kentingan FKIP, including FKIP Kerten, FKIP Pabelan, FKIP Kebumen, and FKIP Ngoresan. Besides that, the location of the FKIP UNS Campus in Kentingan is right next to the Location of the Pancasila Campus Fort where there are places of worship for all religious people, namely churches, monasteries, temples, temples, and mosques in one place, explained Dr. Mardiyana.

Next Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., also explained the organizational structure of FKIP UNS.

“In FKIP UNS, after PTNBH, the organizational structure, namely Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., as Dean of FKIP UNS; Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc., as Deputy Dean for Academic, Research and Student Affairs; Dr. Dewi Kusuma Wardani, M.Sc., as Deputy Dean for Human Resources, Logistics, and Finance; Dr. Djono, M.Pd., as Deputy Dean for Planning, Business, and Information. Then, for administrative matters there is Yunanto, ST, M.Si., as Administrative Coordinator; Luhur Sukamto, SH, as Non-Academic Sub Coordinator; and Mila Purani Sistiyan, SE, MM, as Academic Sub Coordinator,” added Dr. Mardiyana.

On the closing occasion, Dr. Mardiyana also expressed his welcome and gratitude for the visit from FKIP UBT and hoped to collaborate in the future.

“We once again welcome and thank you for the visit from FKIP UBT. We hope that technical guidance activities can be useful and can be applied at FKIP UBT and it is hoped that in the future we can carry out other forms of activities with FKIP UNS,” explained Dr. Mardiyana.

Suyadi, SS, M.Ed., Ph.D., as the Dean of FKIP, University of Borneo Tarakan (UBT), expressed his gratitude for the welcome given by FKIP UNS.

“We are very grateful for the warm welcome given by FKIP UNS. Our visit to FKIP UNS is to carry out technical guidance on administrative governance of FKIP UNS both academic and non-academic, and it is hoped that this activity can be implemented in administrative governance at FKIP UBT.

” other activities that are expected to be mutually beneficial and beneficial to both parties, both FKIP UBT and FKIP UNS, so that they can move forward together in the future,” added Suyadi, SS, M.Ed., Ph.D.

The technical guidance program continued with discussion led by Luhur Sukamto, SH, as Non-Academic Sub Coordinator and Mila Purani Sistiyan, SE, MM, as Academic Sub Coordinator.
