In this event, the Student Creativity Program Team (PKM) of the Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won a Silver Medal for PKM Presentation – Application of Science and Technology (PI).
The team is chaired by Puthut Alfi Syahri Kurniawan which consists of four members. The four members are Ramanda Ridho Barokah, Muhammad Iqbal Amar, Dwi Yudha Meydiansyah, and Iksan Riva Nanda. This machine can increase the effectiveness of cutting and speed up the process of making purus wood.
Contacted by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Monday (26/12/2022), Puthut told how the team was formed.
“At the beginning the team was formed from the three of us, namely Puthut Alfi Syahri Kurniawan, Ramanda Ridho Barokah, and Muhammad Iqbal Amar who had the intention to take part in PKM in order to get a PKM participation certificate as a graduation requirement. After that, we invited our seniors who had participated in PKM in the previous year, namely Dwi Yudha Meydiansyah and Iksan Riva Nanda. After our team was formed, we looked for ideas that we would include in the PKM program and we continued to make proposals,” Puthut explained.
Puthut also shared tips on preparing PKM proposals. He explained three tips in preparing PKM proposals. The three tips are first they take ideas that are in line with the problems faced by the community, then develop clear and targeted programs, and develop proposals based on the PKM guidebook.
Furthermore, Puthut shared an interesting story behind the making of their product. Puthut revealed that the busyness of each member taught them to manage their time well.
“There is an interesting story behind the product that we will present at the 35th Pimnas. The interesting story here is that we are faced with various team conditions, starting with the three of us who are carrying out industrial internships in different places, even out of town. Our seniors are also doing the PLP program. However, here we are required to meet once a week to do presentation exercises and prepare scientific articles, draft patents, and so on,” said Puthut.
At the end of the interview, Puthut expressed his hopes for the FKIP UNS PKM Team in the future.
“We hope that in the future the PKM FKIP UNS Team will be able to develop again by generating extraordinary ideas and be able to represent UNS at the 36th PIMNAS level at UNPAD,” hoped Puthut.
