FKIP – S-1 Geography Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the National Essay Competition on Monday (23/01/2022). The student who won this championship was on behalf of Tegar Ramadani.
The competition that was won by FKIP UNS students was the Nahdlatul Ulama ‘Fair National Essay Competition which was held by the Higher Education Commissariat Leaders (PKPT) of the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association and the Nahdlatul Ulama Girls Association (IPNU-IPPNU) the University of Jember.
The competition, which was held online, was titled “The Contribution of Young Islamic Generations as a Productive Effort in Post-Covid-19 Transformation.” This competition was held to find useful ideas after the Covid-19 pandemic.
When interviewed by the team fkip.uns.ac.id, Tegar said that this competition went well and smoothly.
Tegar also said that he won 1st place by bringing up the idea of liquid smoke from liquid organic waste based on cocoa plants.
“The work that was made so that we could win this competition is liquid smoke from liquid organic waste based on cocoa plants. This liquid smoke is made to support environmentally friendly agriculture through the manufacture of vegetable pesticides, “explained Tegar.
Tegar also conveyed his feelings about winning this competition, namely being very happy, happy, and proud.
“As the first winner, I feel happy and didn’t expect to be able to beat more than 40 student teams from all over Indonesia,” said Tegar.
At the end of the interview, Tegar expressed his hopes for the future.
“Hopefully, we can develop more and be able to increase self-optimization even more actively,” he concluded.
