FKIP – Doctoral Study Program (S-3) in Natural Sciences Education (IPA) Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held an Outbound Capacity Building and Evaluation of the Re-accreditation Activity took place in the Wonder Park Tawangmangu Area, Karanganyar on Tuesday (27/12/2022). This activity was attended by the FKIP UNS Science Education Doctoral Program Accreditation Team.

The Outbound Capacity Building Event and Evaluation of Reaccreditation Activities for Doctoral Program in Science Education FKIP UNS Surakarta in the Wonder Park Tawangmangu Area were attended by Prof. Dr. Suciati, M.Pd. as Chair of the Quality Control Group (GKM) for the Doctoral Program in Science Education and Prof. Sulistyo Saputro, M.Si, P.hD. as Head of Science Education S-3 Study Program. Also present were Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si as Dean of FKIP UNS, Prof. Dr. Sarwiji Suwandi, M.Pd as Head of LPPMP UNS, Dr. Dewi Kusuma Wardani, M.Sc as the Vice Dean for Human Resources and Finance of FKIP UNS and the entire Reaccreditation Team for S-3 Science Education Study Program FKIP UNS.

In his introduction, Prof. Dr. Suciati, M.Pd as Chair of the GKM Study Program S-3 Science Education expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of all parties involved in the re-accreditation of the S-3 Science Education Study Program FKIP UNS Surakarta so that they were able to achieve superior accreditation scores. Accordingly, Prof. Sulistyo Saputro, M.Sc, Ph.D., in his speech expressed his appreciation for all the contributions made by the Reaccreditation Team for the Doctoral Program in Science Education so that he was able to achieve superior accreditation. He hopes that in the future the Science Education Doctoral Study Program will soon achieve international accreditation.

“The momentum of the Outbound Capacity Building activity and Evaluation of Reaccreditation Activities for the Doctoral Program in Science Education FKIP UNS is more of a form of gratitude and appreciation that after going through various inputs from many parties, the Doctoral Program in Science Education finally won excellent accreditation. With this superior accreditation achievement, it is hoped that in the future the Doctoral Program in Science Education FKIP UNS will be able to achieve international accreditation,” hoped Prof. Sulistyo as quoted in the release sent by Dr. Bramastia to the Journalist Team fkip.uns.ac.id.

Next, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc as the Dean of the FKIP UNS Surakarta also conveyed his congratulations on the achievements of the S-3 Science Education Study Program FKIP UNS. He explained that obtaining this superior accreditation should spur the Doctoral Program in Science Education FKIP UNS to immediately prepare for international accreditation.

“We congratulate the achievements achieved during a pandemic by the Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS, which has finally won excellent accreditation. For this reason, international accreditation needs to be well prepared such as the agenda for preparing foreign students and international accreditation which will open up more opportunities, for example, the double degree program. abroad because now the accreditation has a superior status,” explained the Dean of FKIP UNS.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Sarwiji Suwandi, M.Pd as the Head of LPPMP UNS congratulated the achievement of excellent accreditation by the Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS. He invited the S-3 Study Program in Science Education FKIP UNS to prepare for international accreditation and encouraged his lecturers to submit proposals for professorships.

“We also congratulate the obtaining of superior accreditation by the Science Education Study Program, FKIP UNS. This is of course something extraordinary. We hope that the Science Education Doctoral Program can prepare for international accreditation. Apart from that, we also encourage lecturers in the Science Education Doctoral Program to immediately submit proposals for professorships for the benefit of the institution,” said Prof. Sarwiji.

After all the remarks were finished, the event continued with joint gymnastics as well as fun game activities and outbound capacity building. The event then continued with lunch and closed with a joint documentation session.
