FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held an activity to prepare the PPG final report for category II positions in 2022. This activity was held at the Grand Hap Kintamani Hotel, Magetan, Friday – Saturday (13 – 14/ 01/2022).

This activity begins with an opening, an evaluation of the PPG implementation, and a technical explanation for the preparation of the PPG report. The activity continued with the preparation of the PPG report for two days and ended with a closing.

Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, in his speech stated that this activity was intended to evaluate the implementation of PPG activities so that going forward PPG activities are getting better.

“This activity is intended to improve the implementation of PPG in the future. I think the implementation of PPG will get better in the future. For information, the PPG FKIP UNS pass rate is 90%, this certainly helps the government program in accelerating teacher certification,” explained Dr. Mardiyana.

Dr. Mardiyana continued that this percentage would certainly be taken into consideration in planning future PPG activities.

“The planning and implementation of PPG activities can be improved based on the evaluation we have carried out together. This improvement can be followed by adjustments to PPG implementation policies. The hope is that the implementation of PPG FKIP UNS is by what is expected by the government,” continued Dr. Mardiyana.

Dr. A.S. A.G.Tamrin, Head of the study program PPG FKIP UNS, in his speech, conveyed the achievements in the implementation of PPG FKIP UNS.

“PPG FKIP UNS has a pass rate of 90% with a total of 1175 students participating in PPG. The study programs that have successfully passedUKMPPG with a percentage of 100%, namely the Art of Puppetry Study Program (2 students) and Sociology (35 students). Apart from that, the PPG Mathematics Study Program managed to graduate with a percentage of 89%, a far increase from the previous period, “said Dr. Tamrin.

Dr. Tamrin also thank those who helped with the successful implementation of this PPG.

“We thank the heads of study programs, lecturers, tutors, and admins who have helped achieve the implementation of this PPG program,” he concluded.
