FKIP UNS Held 2022 Education Staff Performance Reflection

FKIP – The Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a 2022 Education Personnel Performance Reflection event on Friday (30/12/2022). The event was held offline in the FKIP UNS Building F Hall 3 and online through the Zoom Meeting application.

The activity was opened directly by Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc. as Dean of FKIP UNS. In his remarks, he said that this activity aims to provide performance reflection to education staff at FKIP UNS and improve the quality of its human resources.

“We have planned this activity to reflect on the educational staff at FKIP UNS. In 2022, UNS and FKIP UNS have made improvements, both in terms of the quality of the teaching and educational staff resources. Alhamdulillah, the quality of human resources at FKIP UNS is increasing every year. We hope that this increase will be directly proportional to the improvement of services to students and the community in general,” explained Dr. Mardiyana.

Furthermore, he also explained the commitment of FKIP UNS going forward. FKIP UNS is committed to improving facilities and infrastructure at FKIP UNS. These improvements will be focused on laboratory quality and learning support facilities.

“Apart from improving the quality of human resources, in 2022 FKIP UNS will also try to improve infrastructure. We are also trying to build an atmosphere at FKIP UNS that is more pleasing to the eye, clean, and comfortable. However, we are aware that there will still be many improvements in the future, such as the quality of laboratories and the quality of learning facilities. Our target in the future is that there will be no problems related to electricity, LCD, air conditioning, and other learning-supporting infrastructure,” explained Dr. Mardiyana.

At the end of his speech, Dr. Mardiyana invited educational staff at FKIP UNS to improve their performance. He also urged them to provide maximum service.

“We invite the educational staff at FKIP UNS to fix things that are not good. Don’t let there be many complaints from our customers, namely students, lecturers, and heads of study programs. Take an example of a co-worker who performs well. Let’s work together honestly and sincerely, stay enthusiastic, and comply with performance regulations,” said Dr. Mardiyana.

After the introduction by the Dean of FKIP UNS, the event continued with the presentation of reflection material delivered by Prof. Dr. Siswandari, M.Stat. He gave a performance reflection by conveying the performance aspects that must be implemented by education staff at FKIP UNS with the term “BANANA”. The term is an abbreviation of care, initiative, gratitude, trustworthiness, following (following) the rules, and joy. At the end of his presentation, he stressed that FKIP UNS could be superior to other faculties as long as all elements wanted to work together to make it happen.

“The forerunner of UNS is IKIP Surakarta. The forerunner of UNS is us. It’s strange if we lose to other faculties. We must strive to be superior to other faculties at UNS. As long as we want, we can. Let’s realize the vision and mission of FKIP UNS together for the good and progress of education in Indonesia,” stressed Prof. Student.

After the presentation of the activity material, it was followed by a question-and-answer discussion session, and a workshop, and ended with a joint documentation session.
