FKIP – Doctoral Study Program in Economics Education, Teaching and Education Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta held an Open Doctoral Promotion Session with promovenda Susantiningrum, S.Pd., S.E. on Monday (31/1/2023). The open exam was held in the Hall of Building G of the FKIP UNS Postgraduate Program.

This open examination was chaired by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., as chairman of the board of examiners. Meanwhile, acting as the secretary of the examiner is Prof. Dr. Trisno Martono, M.M. In addition, being part of the testing team, Prof. Dr. Students from M.Stats. as the promoter, Prof. Dr. Soetarno J., M.Pd. as co-promoter I, Prof. Dr. Izza Mafruhah, M.Sc. as co-promoter II, Prof. Dr. Asrowi, M.Pd. as an internal expert examiner, and Prof. Dr. Imam Mukhlis, SE., M.Si as the external expert examiner.

Dr. Susantiningrum, S.Pd., SE., M.A.B. pursues research in the field of entrepreneurship by presenting his dissertation entitled “Problem-Based, Experiential, Participatory, Inquiry-Based, Image-Rich And Connected (Pepiic) Entrepreneurship Learning Models to Improve Entrepreneurial Skills”. The research topic taken was the importance of entrepreneurial skills for vocational high school students.

Dr. Susantiningrum, S.Pd., S.E., M.A.B., together with the promoter team, researched how effective PEPIIC is in increasing the entrepreneurial skills of SMK students. In his research, the PEPIIC-based entrepreneurship learning model developed by researchers proved to be feasible for use in entrepreneurship learning in vocational schools. There are research outputs in the form of the PEPIIC Learning Model Operational Guidebook, teaching materials, learning videos, Intellectual Property (IP), and scientific articles.

At the Doctoral Promotion Open Session, Dr. Susantiningrum, S.Pd., S.E., M.A.B. get cumlaude predicate. Congrats to Dr. Susantiningrum, S.Pd., S.E., M.A.B., for the doctoral degree that has been obtained. Hopefully, the research and knowledge can be useful.
