FKIP – Teacher Professional Education Study Program (PPG) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Departure Ceremony for Pre-service PPG Students Class of 2021 on Tuesday (14/2/2023). The release was held offline in the Hall of Building F FKIP UNS and online through the Zoom Meeting application and broadcast live via the Semar TV Youtube account.

The activity began with a report from the Head of the PPG FKIP UNS Study Program, Dr. A.G. Tamrin, M.Pd., M.Sc., In his statement, he said that of the initial number of 76 PPG students, 67 of them passed.

“Especially, today we will release are Pre-service Students Batch of 2021 which consists of 2 fields of study, namely Elementary School Teacher Education and Physical Education, Sports, and Health. So the total that we released today is 67 students. At first, we received 76 students who passed the administration selection, then 70 students registered at Siakad and attended lectures. Then, 68 students took part in UKMPPG and 67 passed. So congratulations to all of you!” explained Dr. Tamrin.

The activity continued with reading the Chancellor’s Decree (SK) regarding the Determination of the Graduate PPG Pre-service Students Batch of 2021. The reading was carried out by Mila Purani Sistiyan, S.E., M.M., as FKIP UNS Academic Sub-Coordinator. Then, the activity continued with the Taking of the Teacher Professional Oath by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., followed by graduates.

After the oath was completed, the activity continued by reading the names and taking the certificates of the 2021 Pre-service PPG graduates. Meanwhile, after that the inauguration and release of PPG students were carried out by Prof. Jamal Wiwoho as Chancellor of UNS.

In his remarks, Prof. Jamal congratulated the success of the 67 Pre-service PPG Student Graduates Class of 2021. Prof. Jamal also hopes that the knowledge and experience gained while attending PPG can prepare him to work as a competent and professional teacher.

“We, on behalf of the leadership of Sebelas Maret University, congratulate and succeed the 67 Pre-service PPG Students Batch of 2021 who have done well. We hope that the knowledge and experience you gain while studying at PPG FKIP UNS can be a provision in preparing yourself to work as a competent and professional teacher,” said Prof. Jamal.
