FKIP – Friday (17/3/2023), the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a healthy walk which was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and education staff to close the series of celebrations for the 47th UNS Anniversary.

The activity began with the implementation of gymnastics. Then, it was followed by remarks from the Head of the UNS Anniversary Committee held by FKIP UNS, Dr. Djono, M.Pd. He is also the Deputy Dean of Planning, Business Cooperation, and Information. He described a series of events for the 47th UNS Anniversary held by FKIP UNS.

“The series of activities to celebrate the 47th UNS Anniversary held by FKIP UNS have been going on for some time, from table tennis matches, field tennis, futsal, to national seminars. So, the FKIP UNS Healthy Walk is the closing activity of a series of events for the 47th UNS Anniversary held by FKIP UNS,” said Dr. Djono.

After remarks by the Head of the UNS Anniversary Committee held by FKIP UNS, the activity continued with remarks from the Dean of FKIP UNS who was represented by the Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs of FKIP UNS, Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc. In his remarks, Prof. Slamet expressed his gratitude for the enthusiasm of the academic community in participating in a series of UNS 47th Anniversary events.

“We thank you very much for the participation of the FKIP UNS academic community in revitalizing the series of events for the 47th UNS Anniversary organized by FKIP UNS. We also thank all the organizers who managed to hold many activities successfully. We represent the faculty leaders and the committee apologizes if something is not pleasing in this series of activities, “said Prof. Slamet.

After giving a speech, Prof. Slamet also opened the FKIP UNS Healthy Walk event and dispatched the participants for the healthy walk from the starting point in the Yard of Building F FKIP UNS. Meanwhile, the route taken by the participants was Building F to the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, UNS Republic of Indonesia Civil Service Office, Central Office, ICT UNS, and back to Building F FKIP UNS.
