FKIP – Teacher Education Study Program Early Childhood Education (PG PAUD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Student Career Service Development Seminar on Thursday (16/3/2023).

The seminar was held offline in the Hall of Campus IV UNS. Apart from that, seminars can also be attended via live broadcasts on the Youtube account of the PG-PAUD FKIP Universitas Sebelas Maret.

Moderated by Fatin Alifah Wijaya, a PG PAUD FKIP UNS Study Program student, this seminar presented 2 speakers. The first speakers was Yasa Griya Sejati, M.Pd. She is the Head of Development for the Roemah-Bocah Lab School-Central Java Pioneer Center for Community Learning Activities.

In her presentation, she brought material entitled “Challenges and Prospects of PG PAUD in the Future”. He explained the social interaction early childhood educators need in Era Society 5.0. He said that in Era Society 5.0, education was focused on 4 social skills.

“In the Era of Society 5.0, education in Indonesia is focused on social skills, namely 4C. The four skills are creativity or creativity, critical thinking or critical thinking skills, communication or the ability to communicate, and collaboration or collaboration,” said Fatin.

The second speakers is Anis Diah Ayu Masita, M.Psi. She is the Director of CV Pobee Indonesia. She presented material entitled “Pobee Indonesia”. In this material, she talked about the establishment of Pobee Indonesia and CV Binar Berkarya. Furthermore, he also gave an overview of the opportunities in the PAUD world.

“All business fields Pobee Indonesia is working on are studied in PAUD Education. So, the PAUD world has several business opportunities, such as products, services, or entertainment. Business products such as educational toys, children’s story books, worksheets, or PAUD videos and applications. Services can include daycare, parent education, child stimulation, or educational institutions. Meanwhile, the entertainment business can be in the form of educational content and storytelling or read aloud,” explained Anis.

After the material presentation, the activity continued with a question and answer session and ended with a documentation session.
