FKIP – Kusnul Khotimah, a student of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won 1st Place in the 2023 Nidwifery National Da’i/Dakwah Competition around Islam organized by the HMPSB Faculty of Medicine and Health Muhammadiyah University Jakarta.

This competition was held from 27 February 2023 for registration of works until 18 March 2023 for the final stage and announcement of winners. Competing with 70 other participants, Kusnul won 1st Place in this competition.

Interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Kusnul conveyed that the material presented in this competition welcomed Ramadan by becoming the generation of the Qur’an.

“I remind myself and the audience about the problems among today’s younger generation who prefer social media over reading the Koran. The best people are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it. Therefore, to welcome the month of Ramadan, I invite the audience to become a generation of the Koran who is not only good at the Koran but can also practice the contents of the Koran,” said Kusnul on Thursday (20/4/2023).

According to Kusnul, there are three ways to become a Quranic generation: making the Quran a decoration for the heart, guiding the mind, and physically. The Quranic generation is the generation of Muslims who do their physical activities under the guidance of the Koran. His practices are good deeds from oral and tongue-out good sentences. So then, all members of his body are directed to goodness.

Kusnul said that he was very proud and grateful for the achievements achieved in this competition.

“Very happy and grateful for this extraordinary opportunity,” he said.

In the end, Kusnul hopes that he can continue to excel, benefit others, and invite people to do good.

“Hopefully, I can continue to excel and my achievements can be useful for others, especially inviting others to do good. Hopefully, it will continue to be the best version of me and it’s no less important to uphold the principle of rice. The more it cooks, the more it ducks,” she concluded.
