FKIP – Counseling Guidance Study Program (BK) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta conducts Field Assessment Accreditation of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Education (LAMDIK) in the 3rd Floor Hall of Building G of the Postgraduate Program FKIP UNS for two days from Friday (19/5/2023) to Saturday (20/5/2023). The field assessment activity was attended by Leaders, Quality Assurance Unit (UPM), Quality Control Unit (GKM), the Related Team from BK FKIP UNS Study Program, and other supporting elements.

In his remarks, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc. as Dean of FKIP UNS represented by Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc. as Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs, conveyed the profile of FKIP UNS. Furthermore, he also explained that the BK FKIP UNS Study Program carried out the field assessment preparation.

“The Counseling Guidance Study Program is part of the 24 study programs at FKIP UNS which have received superior accreditation. The Counseling Guidance Study Program has prepared a field assessment from the start by making a report in coordination with the FKIP UNS Quality Assurance Unit and making other efforts until today the field assessment was carried out by the LAMDIK Assessor Team. We have internally carried out quality assurance and audits, but we need external direction from the LAMDIK Assessor Team,” said Prof. Slamet.

The LAMDIK assessor in charge of field assessment activities for the BK Study Program is Prof. Dede Rahmat Hidayat, M.Psi., Ph.D. from Jakarta State University (UNJ) and Prof. Budi Purwoko, M.Pd. from Surabaya State University (UNESA). In his remarks, Prof. Dede conveyed the purpose of this field assessment activity.

“Field assessment is an activity carried out to clarify, confirm, verify, and validate data. LAMDIK’s spirit is coaching, moving forward together, encouraging each other, and working together. We hope that this collaboration can run successfully from start to finish and the results will be the best for all of us,” said Prof. Dede.

On the same occasion, Prof. Budi conveyed the direction of LAMDIK accreditation activities. He also said his duties and functions as a LAMDIK assessor in this assessment activity.

“LAMDIK accreditation is a friendly forum between institutions. The direction is institutional strengthening. This field assessment activity aims to check whether what is reported is the same as what happened in the field. We, as assessors, are tasked with sharing experiences for mutual progress. With field assessments, we can quote good practices in implementing learning,” said Prof. Budi.
