FKIP – Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a gathering in the context of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah for the FKIP UNS extended family with the theme “Implementation of Taqwa in Improving Performance” on Wednesday (3/5/2023) at Building F Hall 3rd Floor FKIP UNS.

In his remarks, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc. as the Dean of FKIP UNS delivered Eid greetings to all FKIP UNS academics. He also said the importance of improving performance as an indicator of purity.

“Pious People are people whose existence is blessed and beneficial. Therefore, today’s theme of our gathering is the implementation of taqwa in improving performance. After fasting during Ramadan, may we become pious people with an indicator of increased performance. Improving performance will increase community satisfaction,” said Dr. Mardiyana.

The Rector of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, S.H., M.Hum. He started his Eid greeting for all FKIP UNS academics. He also revealed that the hospitality theme promoted by FKIP UNS is relevant to the current higher education assessment process.

“The theme of our gathering today is the month of Shawwal. The month of Shawwal is a month of increase. So let’s together improve performance, institutional loyalty, solidarity, friendship, love for others, and all positive things. Why? Because, at this moment, the entire college is being assessed. What is assessed? What is being assessed is the main performance indicator or IKU,” said Prof. Jamal.

The event was then continued with a speech presentation by Ust. Hatta Syamsudin, Lc., M.H.I. He presented material according to the theme of the activity. He advised that Ramadan would bring improvement in a better direction.

“Before Ramadan, things may be worth contemplating and evaluating. After Ramadan, their performance has increased because pious people have big aspirations and want to be the best. The best person is the one with the broadest use and the best service to others.
