“Why do we need scholarships? First, college scholarships are expensive so by getting a scholarship, we are relieved financially. The second reason is maximizing self-potential. By getting scholarships, we will be more motivated and even required to explore our potential actively. The third reason is to increase relationships and the fourth is to trigger enthusiasm for studies or seriousness in learning,” explained Febi.
Furthermore, Febi explained the strategy for obtaining scholarship information and things that must be maximized before applying. Moreover, he also explained the general description of LPDP scholarships, starting from the types, administrative requirements, form of contribution, tips for writing essays, selection stages, and tips for facing interview selection to the financing component.
Febi ended his presentation by conveying things that need to be considered by scholarship recipients, both LPDP and other scholarships.
“There are several things that need to be considered by scholarship recipients, both LPDP scholarships and other scholarships, including the intention to contribute to the Indonesian people, to become better, knowledgeable, and trustworthy individuals, not to abuse scholarship assistance or be responsible for the costs given, to be willing to share information on scholarships to others, as well as increasing motivation in studying, being responsible for studies, and trying to graduate on time,” concluded Febi.
