“My feeling when I won achievements in sports, especially in judo sports, of course, I am very proud of my achievements and current achievements. I also feel grateful for this achievement,” said Yovan.
Furthermore, Yovan also revealed his motivation in pursuing the sport of judo so that he could participate in and win competitions at the national and international levels.
“My motivation for taking part in the first sport of judo martial arts was because of my hobby for martial arts. Second, I want to be able to excel in sports. Third, I want to be able to make my parents proud. Even though I have a sensory deficiency, I want to show the world I am capable and can be the best for Indonesia. Lastly, I want to excel because I want to get a scholarship for my education,” added Yovan.
At the end of the interview session, Yovan advised him to hone his potential. He also emphasized not being shy and trying to hone this potential.
If you want maximum achievements or results on your journey, friends, then you must be diligent, diligent, and optimistic. You also have to have ambition for the field that is being occupied. Keep sharpening whatever potential you have. Don’t be shy and keep trying,” said Yovan.
Yovan added that deficiencies should not be used as an obstacle in honing one’s potential.
“Failure starts with a delayed victory, don’t see someone as having a weakness or strength. All human beings are the same. Only what makes them different is whether or not they can live and pursue what is in them,” added Yovan.
