FKIP – Students of the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) of Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta achieved pride. This proud achievement was presented this time by a student from the Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Study Program (PTIK) UNS who won 1st place in the Genre Ambassador Sukoharjo. She is Salsabila Rahma Putri.
Contacted by the fkip.uns.ac.id journalist team, Salsabila admitted that she did not expect the results she received. She also said he was grateful for the result.
“My feelings when I was declared the Genre Ambassador Sukoharjo champion was not expected and believed because getting the title was a big responsibility. However, I am very grateful for what I have accomplished. Maybe this is indeed a way to become a person who is bolder in exploring insights and experiences that I have not previously had with great people in the Sukoharjo genre,” said Salsabila, Friday (9/6/2023).
Furthermore, she also said that as a genre ambassador, she has a responsibility as a role model for teenagers, especially in Sukoharjo. She must also understand the problems of youth in Indonesia.
“Being a genre ambassador is not just about wearing a sash. However, on his shoulders bear the responsibility that must be carried out. As an ambassador for the genre, of course, I will be a role model for teenagers, especially in Sukoharjo, so that they become superior and quality teenagers. I also have to understand youth problems or issues which are becoming important homework for the current government to suppress these problems,” said Salsabila.
At the end of the interview session, Salsabila advised students to understand and be aware of the impact of a lack of future planning. She also advised students to use social media and attend seminars to find information about family planning, population, and family development.
“Students must understand and be aware of the impact and consequences of a lack of planning for the future, for example, education, career, and family. Especially in this digital era, students can use social media to gather information about family planning, population, and family development. Apart from that, you can also participate in positive activities, such as outreach/seminars/webinars and the like related to future life planning or adolescent problems,” said Salsabila.
