FKIP – Team Research Group (RG) Physics Learning Management and Innovation (MIPF) Study Program (Prodi) Physics Education Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Assistance in the Preparation of Physics Teaching Modules Phase F at MGMP Physics SMA Sukoharjo Regency. The FGD is a series of agendas in the framework of UNS Community Service (PkM) activities in 2023

The RG MIPF team consisted of Bachelor and Master in Physics Education chaired by Sukarmin, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D. with Prof. Dr. Widha Sunarno, M.Pd., Dr. Sarwanto, S.Pd., M.Sc., Dr. Daru Wahyuningsih, S.Si., M.Pd., Dr. Elvin Yusliana, M.Pd., Drs. Pujayanto, M.Sc., Dra. Rini Budiharti, M.Pd., Ahmad Faui, S.Pd., M.Pd., Shofi Hikmatuz Zahroh, M.Pd., and Fairusy Fitria Haryani, S.Pd., M.Si. This activity was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, attended by 40 Physics teachers from high school Physics MGMP members throughout Sukoharjo Regency on Thursday (20/7/2023).

This activity presented three speakers. The first speaker was Sukarmin, S.Pd., M.Sc., Ph.D. delivered “Characteristics of the Independent Curriculum.” The second speaker was Dr. Sarwanto, S.Pd., M.Sc., who delivered the theme “Independent Curriculum Teaching Modules and the Flow of Independent Curriculum Learning Objectives,” and the third speaker conveyed “Diagnostic Assessment in the Independent Curriculum” by Shofi Hikmatuz Zahroh, M.Pd. This activity was followed by a discussion and question and answer session by high school physics teachers in Sukoharjo Regency.

As a follow-up to this activity, high school physics teachers in Sukoharjo Regency were tasked with making Phase F Teaching Modules which Physics Education lecturers then accompanied making these teaching modules.

“The expected output from this activity is that teachers can compile a physics teaching module in phase F along with a diagnostic assessment for students,” said Sukarmin.
