FKIP – Elementary School Teacher Education Student Association (HIMA PGSD) Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held the Science Music Art Sport Week (SmartWeek) 7.0 event from June to July 2023. This year, SmartWeek 7.0 carries the theme “Explore Your Passion for Being a Winner (Explosion)”.

SmartWeek is an annual event organized by HIMA PGSD Kebumen. This event contains various activities and competitions in science, arts, and sports at the national level to increase the achievement climate among students. In 2023, SmartWeek will have 4 national level competitions and 1 national webinar. The four competitions are futsal, poster, essay, and vocal solo competitions. 

Meanwhile, the national webinar which opened the series of events was held on Saturday (8/7/2023). The webinar carries the theme “Learning Strategies in the Digital Disruption Era”. With this webinar, it is hoped that participants can add insight and experience in learning in the era of digital disruption.

Moderated by Himmah Uni Hanni as a PGSD FKIP UNS Kebumen Campus student, this webinar presented 2 speakers. The first resource person was Izzah Muyassaroh, M.Pd. He is a PGSD Lecturer at the Faculty of Education (FIP) at the Indonesian University of Education (UPI), Bandung. The second resource person is Bayu Prasetya. He is a UNS Cultural Studies Masters Student.

In his remarks, Arif Sugiyanto, S.H., M.H., as the Kebumen Regent, appreciated this activity’s implementation. He also hopes that this activity can run smoothly and benefit the community.

“We advise all levels of society, let’s continue to work together and be creative to encourage Indonesian society to be more advanced! We appreciate the implementation of SmartWeek 7.0 which is useful for building solidarity. Implementation of smartweek which can increase solidarity and achievement among peers. Hopefully, this event can run smoothly and the students will achieve more and be dedicated to the surrounding community,” hoped Arif.
