FKIP – Friday (1/9/2023), a collaboration was signed in the form of an implementation of the agreement (IA) between the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program (PBSI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS ) Surakarta with the PBSI Study Program at Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu (UMB). This activity was carried out in the IE2021 PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program lecture hall.
This collaboration signing activity involved lecturers and students from both study programs. This activity was carried out as a form of collaboration between the two study programs as a Literacy Entrepreneurship Internship activity. This activity will be attended by 15 students from the UMB PBSI Study Program.
The activity opened with remarks and welcome greetings from the Head of the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program (Kaprodi), Dr. Raheni Suhita, M. Hum. In his speech, she expressed gratitude for UMB’s trust in UNS.
The head of the study program also took advantage of this opportunity to convey the advantages of the study program in terms of facilities, services to students, and especially the accreditation of the PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program, which has FIBAA international accreditation.
This activity is part of the MBKM Program as an internship, which will be carried out for two months at UNS. Students can also participate in theoretical lectures (sit-in) in class besides internships. Students can take several electives and BIPA learning courses, which are carried out by studying with PBSI FKIP UNS Study Program students.
It is hoped that the theoretical lectures attended by the intern students will be able to provide students with learning experiences outside the UMB campus. Apart from that, this academic lecture also aims to support students’ abilities and increase their knowledge, which can be put into direct practice during internship activities at UNS.
Both parties hope that this collaboration can be followed up in various other activities. This activity, which the UNS FKIP PBSI Study Program well received, is also hoped to improve the quality of the UNS FKIP PBSI Study Program through various forms of collaboration with other universities. Meanwhile, for the UMB PBSI Study Program, this collaboration can be used as a comparative study. At the same time, students undergo internship activities with learning experiences at the UNS FKIP PBSI Study Program.
