FKIP – Students of the Fine Arts Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Science Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won an achievement in the 2021 Cakrawala Qur’ani Festival
competition. In this competition, Kharisma Nuril Adha won a trophy with the title of 3rd place in the Musabaqah Khatthil Qur’an (MKQ) Festival Cakrawala competition Qur’ani (FCQ) Contemporary Student at the national level. This competition will be held online.
The Qur’anic Horizon Festival (FCQ) in 2021 is a series of events consisting of the Musabaqah Syarhil Qur’an (MSQ) competition, Al-Qur’an Scientific Writing (KTIA), Musabaqah Khatthil Qur’an (MKQ) branch of decoration and contemporary, Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ), Musabaqah Tartilil Qur’an (MTrQ), Musabaqah Hifdzih Qur’an (MHQ) branch 5 juz and 10 juz, and Musabaqah Fahmil Qur’an (MFQ).
In this event, Kharisma participated in the Musabaqah Khatthil Qur’an branch competition, which is a branch of the competition that focuses on calligraphy painting. To be precise, the branch that was followed was contemporary MKQ (contemporary calligraphy painting).
The competition is held online by sending calligraphy results to the State University of Malang. In addition, participants uploaded their work and process videos on their respective Instagram social media accounts.
The competition starts from August 20 to October 24, 2021. At the announcement stage, it was decided that Kharisma won 3rd place in MKQ.
When interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Friday (26/11/2021), Kharisma shared his experience about the euphoria of the competition that he participated in.
“The atmosphere is fun, the competition is held online so that it is more comfortable to carry out calligraphy paintings as well as fill a little spare time,” said Kharisma.
When it was announced, Kharisma did not expect to win the championship because on previous occasions he had experienced several failures.
“The impression is that, alhamdulillah, at the same time, I didn’t expect to get 3rd place. At first, I thought that I would not get 3rd place, so I didn’t pay attention to the announcement. But as soon as the announcement was made and my name was said to have won 3rd place, I didn’t expect it at all. Happy after failing many times in painting or calligraphy competitions at previous events. Finally, I managed to get the champion!” replied Charisma.
In the end, Kharisma expressed hope for the future.
“Hopefully in the future in painting competitions or calligraphy or other competitions, I can get even better achievements. Hopefully, winning this competition can be a motivation for the people around me as well as my calligraphy painting students at MAN 3 Madiun and in other schools, “concluded Kharisma.
