FKIP – Study Program Student Fine Arts Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won the championship at the 29th Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an in 2021.

In this competition, Kharisma Nuril Adha managed to bring home the trophy for his achievement of winning 2 hopes for the Musabaqah Khatthil Qur’an (MKQ)branch of the branch ContemporaryKhath Al Qur’anat the East Java province level.

The 29th Musabaqah Tilawatil Qur’an or MTQ XXIX competition in 2021 will be held in Pamekasan, Madura, East Java. The branches being contested were MTQ for the blind group, Musabaqah Tafsir Al Qur’an, MFQ, MSQ, MKQ, and MKTIQ.

The competition is held offline and lasts for 9 days, starting from 2-10 November 2021. The competition will be held at the Pamekasan Bakorwil Building, Madura, East Java.

“The contemporary group MKQ branch will be held on November 7 and announced on November 10, 2021,” said Kharisma when met by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Saturday (4/12/2021).

Next, Kharisma told the atmosphere that was felt when the competition took place. “The atmosphere is fun, exciting, and challenging the speed of the hands in painting because the competition is held offline with 8 hours of calligraphy painting time, starting from 08.00 – 14.00 WIB minus an hour isoma,” explained Kharisma.

In the end, Kharisma shared his impressions and hopes after participating in this competition.

“Alhamdulillah, I was still able to get 2nd place in the MKQ-contemporary competition at the East Java Province level representing Madiun Regency. Because I think the contemporary calligraphy painting competition at this event is a category that is difficult to beat. Some criteria are slightly different from calligraphy painting competitions in other provinces. After last year I didn’t have the opportunity to win, this year I can get the runner-up. Hope for the 2ndfuture, I can get even better achievements and can qualify for the national level, “concluded Kharisma.
