FKIP – The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held the Grand Closing Educational Festival (Edufest) 2021. The activity was held in a hybrid manner in the Hall of Building F FKIP UNS by implementing the protocol health and live broadcast on Youtube BEM FKIP UNS on Sunday (5/12/2021).

Edufest 2021 itself was a work program under the auspices of the Ministry of Harmonization and Student Collaboration (Harmony) BEM FKIP UNS 2021. The activity was composed of several series of events, namely the Grand Opening Edufest 2021, National Poster Competition, National Essay Competition, Music Cover Competition Level National, National Level Mobile Legend Competition, and Grand Closing Edufest 2021.

At the Grand Closing Edufest 2021 event, there was a session. Meanwhile, the session was a session of giving awards to FKIP UNS students who had achievements. The session was named the FKIP Award session. There are three award categories in the FKIP Award Grand Closing Edufest 2021 session, namely FKIP UNS Outstanding Students, UNS FKIP People, and 34th Pimnas Medal Winners.

The Outstanding Student Award was given to Farah Yuki Prasetyawati from the Physics Education Study Program, Dji Hanafit from the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, and Arini Nurfadilah from the Mathematics Education Study Program. Then, for the FKIP UNS Personnel award, there were five categories. The first category was Art and Culture Personnel, which was awarded to Ratna Hayu Fitriana from the Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PG PAUD).

The second category was Literacy People. The category was given to Aji Santoso from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. The next category of FKIP Personnel was Social Personnel given to Akhmad Mukhibun from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program. Then the Sports Person category was given to Rizka Andrias Wuri from the PG PAUD Study Program. Meanwhile, for the last category, the Business Personnel was awarded to Najla Nandika Ghasani from the Special Education Study Program.

Meanwhile, the 34th Pimnas medal winners were given to the Anggun Prasasti team, Dwi Yudha Meydiansyah team, and Sony Baroo Amirullah team.

Della Sanjaya as chairman of the 2021 Edufest committee hopes that this FKIP Award session can motivate FKIP UNS students to continue to excel according to their interests and talents.

“Hopefully, the FKIP Award session as a form of appreciation or appreciation for students in the Grand Closing Edufest 2021 activity can motivate FKIP UNS students to continue to excel according to their interests and talents. Hopefully, in the future this FKIP Award session can be maintained and developed for the better again, for example by increasing the award nominations given,” Della hoped.
