FKIP – Students of the Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the National Lecture Competition at the Mirai Islamic Festival event organized by Pertamina University. Meanwhile, the student who won this championship was Khusnul Khotimah.

This activity has the theme “Creating Intellectual People in the Middle of Globalization”. The implementation of this activity was carried out online starting from registration, collection of works, assessment, and announcements. The announcement was made on Saturday (4/12/2021) via Zoom Cloud Meeting with Khusnul as the 1st place winner.

Bringing a work entitled “Printing Scholarly People, Has Noble Morals,” Khusnul explained the reason for choosing this idea. This idea is based on the phenomenon of the increasingly rapid development of the times, in fact, the morals of the millennial generation are fading.

“The background for the choice of the idea is to see the development of the times and technology, millennial morals are starting to fade and even become a lying generation. In fact, Indonesia needs the next generation who are intelligent and of course, have noble character. This can be done by oriented to the direction of the prophet, “explained Khusnul.

Khusnul explained the intent and purpose of the ideas expressed in this lecture, namely to invite people to become human beings with noble character.

“The purpose of this idea is to instill awareness and invite people to become intelligent and noble human beings,” Khusnul continued.

Khusnul also added her hopes for the lectures and ideas expressed.

“Hopefully many young people can be inspired and become intelligent and noble people so that they can bring progress to the nation,” said Khusnul.

At the end of the explanation, Khusnul expressed the hope that she had in the future, namely being able to bring the good name of the alma mater and invite others to goodness.

“Hopefully in the future, I can invite others to goodness and bring a good name to the alma mater and of course continue to work,” Khusnul concluded.
