FKIP – Three students of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the National Scientific Writing Competition IOSH SUMMIT which was announced on 31 October 2021 online via Zoom Cloud Meeting.
The theme of the competition was “K3 Creative Innovation in the New Normal Era as a Step to Realize the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals”. Abdul Aziz, Chaerinna, and Joko Tri Widianto, three PGSD FKIP UNS students participated in a series of stages of this competition, including the selection of works, presentation of works, until being declared the 1st place winner.
Chaerinna as a team member conveyed the ideas proposed by her team to participate in this competition.
“The idea proposed is EDI SIGAP: Education is Ready to Respond to the Socialization of Occupational Health and Safety Culture in Android-Based Elementary School Children,” explained Chaerinna when met by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Friday (7/1/2022).
Furthermore, Chaerinna revealed the background of the selection of ideas proposed to participate in this writing competition.
“The background is the lack of socialization of K3 culture (Occupational Health and Safety) to children and the use of technology 4.0,” said Chaerinna.
Based on the chosen background, this team determined the goal of educating children and the community about K3.
At the end, Chaerinna conveyed her hopes and plans for the future.
“The hope and plan are that the application can be developed and used as a means of educating children,” concluded Chaerinna.
