FKIP – Mechanical Engineering Education Student Association (KOMPRESI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) University Eleven Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a social service on Wednesday (5/1/2022). This activity was held at the Muhammadiyah Orphanage (PAKYM) Slamet Riyadi, Pajang, Laweyan, Surakarta or to be precise east of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta.
This activity is a series of Gathering Emotional and Relationship (GEAR) 2021, one of the work programs of the Compression Public Relations Department (HUMAS) FKIP UNS. This activity is also a substitute for assignments from a series of M Solver PTM FKIP UNS regeneration activities.
Risal Kusuma Jati as the chief executive said that this activity was aimed at sharing and distributing aid with orphaned children.
“The first goal is that we hold a social service to share with the children in the orphanage, it is a substitute for the assignment from the cadre of friends from the 2021 batch,” said Risal.
The event, which is one of the work programs of the HMP Compression FKIP UNS PR department, was filled with various activities in it. The activities carried out included distributing donations in the form of necessities and money, as well as taking photos with the orphanage children.
“We give in the form of aid, some of which we form in necessities such as rice, noodles, and the rest we form in money,”
Risal hopes that this activity can strengthen the sense of kinship between new PTM FKIP UNS students and increase a sense of care and sensitivity towards fellow human beings.
