FKIP – Communication Forum (Forkom) for Teacher Training Faculty and Educational Sciences (FKIP) throughout Indonesia held a working meeting for the leadership of the State FKIP throughout Indonesia which was held offline on Friday-Sunday (28-30/1/2022) at The Sunan Hotel and Hotel UNS Inn.
The activity moderated by Dr. AG, Tamrin, M.Si, and Dr. Djono, M.Pd carries the theme “The role of LPTKs in improving human resources for teachers and education personnel in the Distrubsi 4.0 Era in the 21st Century”. This activity was also attended by the Chairman of the Forkom, Prof. Dr. Mahdun, M.Pd., and the Chancellor of Sebelas Maret University, Prof.Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, M.Pd. The Mayor of Surakarta, Gibran Rakabuming Raka also gave an online speech.

The activity began with remarks from the Chair of the Committee by Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. He said that this meeting was focused on in-depth discussions, raising problems to the Acting Director of PPG, and focusing on improving the quality and welfare of teachers.
“This activity is focused on discussing problems that occur in the region. The problem can be submitted to the Director of PPG. In addition, this activity also collaborates with the Educational Personnel Education Institute (LPTK), with the intention that FKIP graduates become quality graduates, “explained Dr. Mardiyana.
Dr. Mardiyana also conveyed the importance of collaboration between FKIP, LPTK, and PGRI so that the quality and welfare of teachers can be guaranteed.
“FKIP, LPTK, and the PGRI Executive Board must collaborate to realize an increase in teacher competence and welfare. Especially for teachers in the 3T area, the quality and welfare must be the same,” continued Dr. Mardiyana.

The three-day working meeting began with the opening, remarks from the chairman of the committee and remarks from the chairman of the Forkom, discussion of the work program of the Forkom led by FKIP in 2022, and Benchmarking activities at the University of Tampere, Finland.
The second day’s activities began with a Working Meeting of State FKIP Leaders throughout Indonesia, including a discussion of “Strategic Issues for the Implementation of the PPG Program,” which was delivered by the Acting Director of PPG, Mr. Temu Ismail, S.Pd., M.Sc. The second material conveyed “The Role of PGRI in Improving Teacher Integrity towards a Golden Indonesia,” which was conveyed by the General Chair of PB PGRI, Prof. Dr. Unifah Rosyidi.
The third material discussed “The Role of FKIP in Improving Teacher Quality for Advanced Indonesia,” which was conveyed by the Director-General (Dirjen) of Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbud Ristek), Dr. Iwan Syahril, Ph.D.
It was continued by delivering the fourth material on “Socialization of the Lamdik,” which was delivered by the Director of the Independent Educational (Lamdik), Prof. Dr. Muklas Samani, M.Pd.
The last activity was a Field Trip, which was an activity to introduce the City of Solo to the Leaders of State FKIPs throughout Indonesia.
