FKIP – Teacher Professional Education Study Program (PPG) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta releases PPG students in positions online via Zoom Cloud Meeting on Monday (31/1/2022).

The activity began with a report by Dr. Agusti Tamrin, M.Pd., M.Sc., as the head of the PPG study program who reports the ranking of UNS nationally.

“The percentage of PPG passing in positions in 2021 reached 70.22%. From the organizer’s side, we report that UNS is ranked 5th nationally. Meanwhile, from the origin of the bachelor’s degree, UNS is ranked 1 nationally,” Agusti said in his report.

Furthermore, Dr. Agusti Tamrin, M.Pd., M.Sc., said the number of students who were declared to have passed PPG in the 2021 period I position reached 1,024 students.

The event was continued with remarks by the dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. In his remarks, he expressed his hopes for PPG students who were declared to have passed.

“After graduating, I hope that you will always improve your competence. Because it has been given the status of a professional teacher. The hope is that it needs to be implemented in the activities of the learning process. In addition, it is hoped that you will always do self-reflection, self-introspection, whether it is true that I am already competent as a teacher. And ladies and gentlemen, don’t forget to evaluate yourself,” said Mardiyana in his speech.

The next activity is the release of PPG students in positions. Students are released by the Chancellor of UNS, Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, SH, M. Hum. which on this occasion was represented by the Vice-Chancellor for academics and student affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, MS

Before releasing students, Prof. Yunus congratulated PPG students in positions that had been declared graduated.

“We congratulate and succeed to 1,024 PPG students in positions who this morning were declared to have passed the UNS teacher professional education program by their respective fields of study. Starting today, all of you legally have a certificate as a competent teacher education that is fully by the educational standards that have been set, in this case, professional competence, “said Prof. Yunus in his speech.

At the end of the speech, Prof. Yunus representing UNS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jamal Wiwoho, SH, M. Hum. declared graduation to 1,024 PPG students in positions.

“By saying bismillah, I officially release the participants of the teacher professional education program in the position of UNS period I in 2021,” concluded Prof. Yunus.
