FKIP – Group of 50 Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Real Work Lectures (KKN) held socialization of Family Planning (KB) counseling. This socialization activity was carried out offline at the Amal Asih TPA RW X Manahan Village, Banjarsari, Surakarta on Friday (18/2/2022).

The UNS 50 KKN group was guided by Agus Ramelan, S.Pd., M.T. The members are Miftahul Farihin, Alfiansyah Adam, Miftakhudin, Rose Dwi Antika, Malinda Eriana, Milentika Rachmdani, Verina Asokawaty, Sonia Martha Salsabila, Mochamad Orif Febrianto, and Mohammad Fikri Fadhillah.

Miftahul Farihin as the head of the group said that this socialization was aimed at providing insight into the importance of the family planning program to the level of population density in Indonesia.

“Providing insight to the residents of RW X Manahan Village about the importance of participating in the family planning program, thereby reducing the population density at the RW X Manahan Village level, in particular, providing knowledge that is still minimal about the family planning program and all its forms,” ​​he told the fkip. uns. ac team .id when contacted via Whatsapp.

According to Miftahul, this activity has involved 50 participants, especially women from RW X Manahan Village. While the form of activity is in the form of socialization and presentation by Sri Sumarni from the Surakarta BKKBN as a resource person.

Miftahul hopes that the socialization of the family planning program can make people aware, especially RW X Manahan Village, of the importance of participating in the family planning program to create a quality family.

“I hope that with this family planning counseling event, the community, especially the residents of RW X Manahan Village, are more aware of the importance of participating in the family planning program so that they can reduce population growth and improve the quality of life of the community to create quality small families,” he hoped.
