The existence of professors at UNS, I hope so too, because professors are rare people, so those who are rare must be immortalized,” said Prof. Jamal.
Furthermore, Prof. Jamal hopes that the planting of rare trees by this professor will not only be used as a ceremony.
“I hope the planting of this big tree will not only be used as a ceremony. This activity is also part of one of the UNS developments in the UI Green Matric, where the parameters are policies that are oriented towards the development of a better environment. I am sure that tree planting is not only a ceremony but is maintained,” said Prof. Jamal quoted from uns.ac.id.

According to Prof. Dr. Triyanto S.H., M.Hum, one of the professors of FKIP UNS who was involved, said that this rare tree planting activity was a form of support for UNS in the green campus program for the future of the earth. “Positive activities are very good to support UNS as a green campus internally, externally also support environmental development so that it remains sustainable by the designation of the earth, namely for our future as a nation and state,” he explained.
In addition, Prof. Triyanto also expressed his impression after planting his breadfruit tree.
“Not just planting trees, but also sending a message to the wider community that this earth must be protected, we must maintain and protect trees for sustainable development so that our earth remains sustainable. So that the earth will continue to be maintained and can meet our oxygen supply on campus In addition, this activity is carried out as a form of keeping our campus green so that it can reduce the impact of climate change and global warming,” he said.
He also hopes that this activity will continue so that it becomes a conservation of the existence of rare trees on earth. It’s not just a rare tree, but also a passion for protecting the earth from damage.
“I hope this activity will continue, with more and more rare trees that we plant on our campus, this seems to be one of the conservationists of one of the guardians of the existence of trees on our earth. So, don’t let other places not exist We also don’t exist. If there are few other places, we must continue to take care of this campus, there are still many rare trees that we continue to protect. Not only the rare trees but also the spirit to protect our Earth from damage,” he concluded.
