FKIP – The Teacher Professional Education Study Program (PPG) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Pre-service PPG Student Release event for the Academic Year (TA) 2020/2021 on Tuesday (29/3) /2022). The release was held offline in the Hall of Building G FKIP UNS and online through the Zoom Meeting application, and broadcast live through the Semar TV Youtube account.
The activity began with a report from the Head of the PPG FKIP UNS Study Program, Dr. A.G. Tamrin, M.Pd., M.Sc., In his report, he said that from the initial number of 82 PPG students, 71 of them passed. He also conveyed two requirements for graduation for PPG FKIP UNS students.
“Students who will be released are students who have passed all courses consisting of deepening of pedagogic material and fields of study, development of learning tools, and field experience practice. Then, the national filter is that all these students have passed the Performance Test and Knowledge Test as a PPG Student Competency Test. Congratulations to all of you!” explained Dr. Tamrin.
The activity was continued with the reading of the Rector’s Decree (SK) regarding the Determination of Graduation of PPG Students for the Independent Pre-service Scheme for the 2020/2021 FY. The reading was done by Mila Purani Sistiyan, S.E., M.M. as the Academic Sub Coordinator of FKIP UNS.

Then, the activity continued with the Taking of the Professional Teacher Oath by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. and followed by graduates. After the oath was completed, the next activity was to read the names and take certificates for PPG Mandiri Pre-service Scheme graduates for the 2020/2021 academic year. Meanwhile, after that, the PPG students were inaugurated and released by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Yunus, M.S. as Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs UNS.
Fajar Budi Hardono, S.Pd. as a representative of PPG FKIP UNS Graduates of the Independent Pre-service Scheme for the 2020/2021 academic year, expressed his gratitude to all parties who have provided facilities and an academic climate to process and receive knowledge during lectures.
“We express our sincere gratitude to the Rector of UNS, the Dean of FKIP UNS and his staff, the PPG management team, all lecturers and civil servants, and the entire academic community of FKIP UNS. Thank you for all the facilities and a very supportive academic climate, so that we can proceed to develop knowledge even though lectures are conducted online. Thank you for the patience of Mr. and Mrs. Lecturer, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Admin in guiding us. Hopefully the knowledge we get can be useful,” said Fajar.
The UNS Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs also gave a speech at the release of the PPG FKIP UNS students. Not only that, a speech was also given by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Dirgen GTK) who was represented by the Chair of the PPG Working Group of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Elvira, M.Si.
