FKIP – The Blind Band from the Extraordinary Education Study Program (PLB) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta took part in a series of Cultural Arts Performances and Announcements of the 46th Anniversary of the UNS Competition. The activity was carried out on Friday (20/5/2022) in a hybrid manner, namely online through the Sebelas Maret University Youtube channel and offline in the 3rd Floor Hall of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara UNS Building.

On this occasion, two PLB Study Program students who were members of the blind band were also present to enliven the event. They are Prasetyo (Extraordinary Education 2019) and Frema Maresta (Extraordinary Education 2020).

Before presenting the presentation, the presenter conveyed a brief profile and achievements of the band. The presenter said that Prasetyo and Frema once got a muri record, namely the youngest blind band in Indonesia.

“Mas Pras and Mba Frema once got a muri record, Mr/Mrs. So, in 2009, Mas Pras and Mba Frema got a muri record regarding the youngest blind band ever in Indonesia,” said the host.

On this occasion, they presented a song entitled “Hope Not Separated” by Reza Artamevia.

Their presentations were greeted with thunderous applause from the audience. Many appreciations and expressions of admiration were expressed for both of them.
