FKIP – Students of the Master of Economics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won two awards namely best paper and best presenter at The 1st International Conference on Research and Development (ICORAD).

The event lasted for two days, namely Saturday-Sunday (27-28/11/2021) which was conducted online through Zoom Meetings and the Youtube channel of the Indonesian PkM Lecturer Association ADPI. This event was organized by the Indonesian PkM Lecturer Association (ADPI).

Interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Puji Novita Sari revealed the impression she got when she was declared to have won two awards.

“I am very grateful to Mrs. Susi and Mr. Kusmuriyanto as Lecturers of Accounting Education at Semarang State University who have provided space for me to develop in the world of research and also who have provided material and moral support. Of course, this predicate is impossible to achieve without the contribution of each member and good team work,” said Novita on Tuesday (24/5/2022).

With the title “Village Fund Management Accountability: The Moderating Role of Leadership Style”, Novita explained that the results of the research presented were the results of joint research.

“The research results that I presented to ICORAD were the results of joint research with my undergraduate lecturers. She is Mrs. Nurdian Susilowati, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Mr. Drs. Kusmuriyanto, M.Si. who is a Lecturer in Accounting Education, State University of Semarang,” explained Novita.

The research conducted by Novita is a research that is motivated by the increase in the village fund budget given to the village every year.

“The background for this research is an increase in the village fund budget that is given to villages every year to improve infrastructure. However, conditions on the ground show that the distribution of village funds still has problems,” said Novita.

At the end, Novita gave a message based on her achievements. He invites readers to do research as a way to solve problems.

“Let’s help the Indonesian nation with research, because research is done to solve problems. Start with the problems that are around us. In addition, do every task with all your heart and maximum. If the results of the work are good, people’s confidence in our performance will increase,” concluded Novita.
