FKIP – Guidance and Counseling Study Program Student Association (HMP) (Himabiko) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held an activity of Charity with Himabiko (Creativity Learning at Panti Bersama Himabiko) on Sunday (5/6/ 2022). This activity was carried out at the Dharma Aji Insan Orphanage in Karanganyar.

This activity carries the theme “Serving with Action, Moving with Heart” and has the aim of increasing a sense of humanity and a spirit of appreciation for students. This was conveyed by Alviano Yudha Pranata as chairman of Himabiko.

“The purpose of this activity is to increase the sense of humanity of BK students as humanitarian activists, increase the spirit of appreciation of BK students for the work produced by others, and facilitate BK students in developing the spirit of innovation,” explained Alviano when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team. on Monday (6/6/2022).

This activity was attended by foster children at the Dharma Aji Insan Orphanage and 25 Himabiko members. The activities carried out are utilizing used bottle waste into more useful items.

“The activity was attended by foster children at the orphanage and 25 members of Himabiko. The activities carried out are the use of used bottle waste into pencil cases and also media for watering plants which can later be used by children and orphanage administrators, “said Alviano.

In the end, Alviano conveyed the hopes that he wanted to achieve from the Service with Himabiko. He hopes to establish a relationship with the orphanage, increase student gratitude, and train the creativity of foster children at the Dharma Aji Insan Orphanage.

“The hope is that we can establish a good relationship with the Dharma Aji Insan Orphanage, can train the creativity of foster children so that they can use used goods to be more useful, and can increase gratitude for all Himabiko members,” concluded Alviano.
