FKIP – Student Activity Unit (UKM) Islamic Activity Center (SKI) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta organizes TPA (Qur’an Education Park) is Back activities for 9 months, from March to November. This activity was held at the Al-Barakah Mertoudan Mosque, RT 2 RW 9 Mojosongo, Jebres, Surakarta.
TPA is Back is one form of activity from the work program of SKI FKIP UNS, namely “Semarak Dusbin”.
TPA is Back was held to form a pious and pious young generation with noble character. This was conveyed by Ibnu Romadlon as the Head of External Social Affairs of SKI FKIP UNS.
“TPA is Back has the goal of forming a young generation who is pious, pious, noble, active, and broad-minded as well as adding a deeper understanding of Islam to increase faith,” explained Ibnu when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Monday ( 6/6/2022).
Furthermore, Ibnu said that TPA is Back was followed by children and young people in the assisted hamlets.
“The targets of this activity are children and young people in the target hamlets,” said Ibnu.
For 9 months, various activities were carried out to enliven this work program. These activities include reading and writing Iqra, coloring, storytelling, outbound, and breaking fast together during the month of Ramadan.
“Activities at TPA is Back included reading and writing Iqra, coloring, storytelling, outbound, and breaking fast during the fasting month,” said Ibnu.
In the end, Ibnu expressed his hope for holding TPA in Back activities. He hopes that this activity can form students who care about others and can establish close relationships with the dusbin (guided hamlet) community.
“The hope of implementing TPA is Back is the formation of students who care about others and spread benefits to the surrounding community as well as the establishment of close relationships between the dusbin community and UNS students, especially members of SKI FKIP UNS. With the TPA is Back activity, it is also hoped that it will bring forth future teachers at the TPA. In addition, we hope that this activity will be able to make the young generation of Islam today, become a generation with Islamic character and Quranic spirit through teaching Islamic values and the Koran which are taught during TPA teaching activities,” concluded Ibnu.
