FKIP – Caring is one of the obligations that must be carried out by every human being as a social being. The form of caring itself can be channeled through many things, such as the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta through the FKIP Charity work program: Spread Love and Kindness.

FKIP Charity is one of the work programs of the Ministry of Social Affairs BEM FKIP UNS 2022. The FKIP Charity 2022 activity takes the theme “Spread Love and Kindness” which has the meaning to spread love and affection to fellow human beings.

This activity was held in the environment around the UNS campus, such as the area behind the campus, Palur Terminal, Tirtonadi Terminal, Jagalan, and Moewardi Hospital on Saturday (18/6/2022). This activity is in the form of sharing food with pedicab drivers, sweepers, and other communities in need.

“FKIP Charity’s activities are in the form of sharing food to people in need around the UNS campus, such as pedicab drivers, sweepers, and others,” said Anissa Fajar Lutfiah as chief executive when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team.

The FKIP Charity activity is a form of concern for UNS students which aims to strengthen ties with the community, realize concern for others, and instill a social spirit.

“There are several objectives of the FKIP Charity work program, namely strengthening ties with the community around UNS, realizing concern for others, and instilling a social spirit, especially for BEM FKIP UNS members,” he said.

This activity was attended by members of the UNS FKIP BEM who collaborated with several student associations at FKIP, such as HMP Demokratia, HIMA PGSD Kebumen, Himannomi, HMP Spedu PLB, HMP Wibawa, Himadistra, Himadikpa, HMP Graffiti, Himmadika, to Himago, as well as collaboration with Action Sharing (@aksiberbagicom), and Kindness Indonesia (@kebaikanorg).

“This event certainly involves members from the Ministry of BEM FKIP UNS. In addition, this activity is also held in collaboration with BEM FKIP UNS with several HMP FKIP UNS, Action Sharing, and the Good of Indonesia,” he explained.

Through this activity, it is hoped that good relations between human beings, especially UNS residents and the community will continue to be established.

“Hopefully this activity can be carried out again because this activity is a very positive activity and can establish good relations between human beings, especially UNS residents and the surrounding community,” said Annisa.
