FKIP – Biosphere Education Student Association (HMP Biosphere) Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a blood donation activity with the theme “Give Blood, Give Love, and Life” on Saturday (11/6/ 2022).

Khansa explained that give blood, give love, and life means giving love, care, and blood to others to give life to the living.

“The theme give blood, give love, and life because by donating blood means we give our love, our care to others, and our blood is expected to be able to give life out there that is alive to return to health and gather with other people. they love,” said Khansa Qonita Nabila as the chief executive when interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team.

The activity, which was held in Building D, FKIP UNS, was aimed at increasing the awareness of students and the general public about the health of people in need.

“The Biosphere 2022 blood donor activity aims to increase the awareness of students (especially UNS students) and the community in general for public health,” he said.

The parties involved in this activity are the management of the Biosphere HMP which is the organizing committee. Meanwhile, the target participants are UNS students and the general public.

Khansa hopes that this blood donation will become a routine activity every year to make it easier for UNS students who do not have time to donate blood to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

“I hope that this activity can make it easier for UNS students who do not have time to donate blood to PMI so that there is no longer the word ‘no time’ for blood donors. Then, we also hope that this blood donation will continue to be a routine activity every year held by the Association. Biology Education students are in accordance with the vision and mission of the Biosphere HMP, of course, not only Biology Education students but also students from FKIP and non-FKIP associations to continue to work in the humanitarian field,” he hoped.
