FKIP – Management Research Group Study Program (Prodi) Teacher Education (PG) Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Social Media-Based Promotion Management Socialization for PAUD Institutions Towards Era Society 5.0 which is focused on marketing management training for website-based PAUD institutions at TK Aisyiah 20 Pajang Surakarta and TK Marsudisiwi Village Community Resilience Institute (LKMD) Surakarta.

Chaired by Dr. Siti Wahyuningsih, this group consists of 9 members. The nine members are Dr. Upik Elok Endang Rasmani, M.Pd., Anjar Fitrianingtyas, S.Pd., M.Pd., Nurul Shofiatin Zuhro, S. Pd., M.Pd., Novita Eka Nurjanah, M.Pd., Jumiatmoko, S. Pd., M.Pd., and Dr. Drs. Bambang Winarji, M.Pd.

The activity was carried out for 1 month in 5 stages, namely the initial observation stage, the planning stage, the implementation stage, the monitoring and evaluation stage, and the follow-up plan stage. Meanwhile, the participants in the activity were educators and education staff of TK Aisyiah 20 Pajang Surakarta and TK Marsudisiwi Village Community Resilience Institute (LKMD) Surakarta.

Dr. Siti explained that this activity was motivated by the failure of PAUD Institutions to compete in the digital era. This activity aims to show the advantages of TK LKMD Marsudisiwi Surakarta and TK Aisyiah 20 Pajang Surakarta through websites so that they can be accessed by the general public.

“Early childhood education is an important foundation to support further education. The reality in the field is that many institutions provide services to early childhood, both from the private sector and the government. However, not all of these institutions can compete during the competition for digital era PAUD services. Well, this activity aims to accommodate all activities and excellence in TK LKMD Marsudisiwi Surakarta and TK Aisyiah 20 Pajang Surakarta so that they can be accessed by the general public,” explained Dr. Siti.

Active support and assistance during the creation of this website have had a considerable impact. This is evidenced by the fluency in making websites that are carried out by teachers as a forum for promoting the institution.

Dr. Siti hopes that this activity will help TK LKMD Marsudisiwi Surakarta and TK Aisyiah 20 Pajang Surakarta in increasing the promotion of these institutions so that they can compete in the digital era.

“With the optimization of marketing management through this website, we hope that partner kindergartens have a name to be able to compete with other institutions and in the future partners can continue to improve their school promotions by developing content that can attract the public through existing websites,” hoped Dr. Siti.
