FKIP — The Student Team of Group 9 Real Work Lecture (KKN) Precision Village Data (DDP) Bogor Agricultural University-Sebelas Maret University (IPB-UNS) consisting of 12 UNS students and 2 IPB students activated the Village Data Program. KKN activities start from Monday (4/7/2022) to Thursday (18/8/2022). This DDP KKN is located in Kembang Village, Gladagsari District, Boyolali Regency.
The DDP program consists of two stages which include spatial data collection and social data collection. Spatial data retrieval is carried out by flying a drone to obtain data in the form of images or photos from the air, then proceed with the verification stage of village boundaries and the boundaries of each RW.
The second stage is the process of collecting social data using the census technique through the MERDESA application by the enumerators. The enumerators are local residents chosen by the village and in the implementation of this census the enumerators are accompanied by KKN DDP IPB-UNS students.
The implementation of the Precision Village Data Program aims to build village data with a high level of accuracy so that the data obtained describes the actual conditions of the village.
In addition to the main program Presisi Village Data, the 9 KKN DDP IPB-UNS group collaborated with UNDIP KKN student, Nurul Hidayah, also held a socialization related to Mouth and Nail Diseases (PMK). The activity took place on Thursday (28/7/2022) at the Flower Village Hall.
FMD is an infectious animal disease that attacks both domesticated and wild animals such as cattle, buffalo, sheep, goats, pigs, deer, deer, camels and elephants.
Currently, in every hamlet in Kembang Village, there are already cases of livestock that are indicated to be affected by FMD. Most cases of death occurred in calves aged <2 months and every ten cases there were 1-2 cases of death.
From an economic perspective, the FMD outbreak is very detrimental to cattle farmers in Kembang Village. The majority of cows owned by the residents of Kembang Village are dairy cows. This epidemic caused the milk production of dairy cows infected with FMD to decrease significantly.
Although many cows have been infected, counseling related to FMD has never been carried out by related parties in Kembang Village, which makes the community still lack of knowledge about the FMD outbreak.

Therefore, the IPB-UNS DDP KKN Team Group 9 and UNDIP KKN held a socialization related to PMK as a supporting work program in order to reduce cases of FMD transmission in Kembang Village and to help bridge the dialogue between farmers and the Boyolali District Livestock Service, represented by drh. Suratna, as the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Ampel Animal Health Center (Puskeswan).
“The community is expected not to be too worried about this outbreak. Handling that can be done by the community, among others, is separating cattle indicated by FMD cases from healthy cows, cleaning the cage regularly, and maintaining the mobility of the cows so that they remain sterile and away from the location of FMD cases,” explained drh. . Suratna.
After the socialization activity was completed, the Student Team of Group 9 KKN DDP IPB–UNS, KKN UNDIP, and the Head of UPT Puskeswan Ampel visited one of the residents to check livestock. In addition, the PMK prevention measures that were explained during the socialization were also practiced.
