HUMAS FKIP – The Office Administration Education Student Association (Himadistra) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held a Webinar for the Office Festival (Fesfer) with the theme “Transformation of Modern Office Administration and Development of the Existence of Young Administrators in the Era of Disruptive Innovation ” The webinar was held online via Zoom Meeting on Saturday (27/8/2022).

This webinar was opened by Prof. Dr. Henry Eryanto, M.M. as Chairman of the Association of Graduates and Practitioners of Indonesian Office Administration (ASPAPI). In his speech, he said that the theme of this webinar is current needs.

“This webinar is a continuation of the Office Festival activities organized by the PAP FKIP UNS Study Program which had been suspended for two years. The theme of this webinar is very interesting and in the last two years it has always been a conversation among the general public and of course among academics where currently administration in offices and institutions has been directed towards digital principles, “said Prof. Henry.


Moderated by Ainun Ningrum as a student of the Office Administration Education Study Program (PAP) FKIP UNS, this webinar presented two speakers. The first resource person is Prof. Dr. Haedar Akib, M.Si. He is a member of the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) Expert Team. He presented the material entitled “Organizational Transformation Based on Administrative Competence in the Era of Society 5.0″.

In the material, he explained the characteristics of modern administration, and the challenges of office administration staff, to the agenda to support the organizational transformation based on administrative competence in the era of society 5.0. According to him, there are five agendas to support this.

“To support the organizational transformation based on administrative competence in the society 5.0 era, we still have to build consensus based on mutual benefit. Then, we must also hone artificial and natural intelligence, hone creativity and innovation that are valuable to the public, master international languages, and actualize ethical, aesthetic, kinesthetic, and work ethic values,” said Prof. Haedar.

The second resource person is Dr. Tutik Susilowati, M.Si. a Lecturer in the PAP FKIP UNS Study Program. He presented the material with the title “Developing the Existence of Young Administrators in the Era of Disruptive Innovation”.

He explained the definition of disruptive innovation, forms of disruptive innovation, the difference between sustainable innovation and disruptive innovation, forms of disruptive innovation in the office administration field, to employment in the era of disruptive innovation. He closed his presentation by explaining the things that need to be done in the era of disruptive innovation.

“Then what do we need to do? Change the mindset first. Don’t be apathetic, let’s grow and develop according to the times. Improve digital literacy, data literacy, and language literacy. Lastly, increase cultural and human values as well,” explained Dr. Tutik.

The activity was followed by a question-and-answer discussion session guided by the moderator. Then, the activity ended with joint documentation.
