HUMAS FKIP – Student Association of Accounting Education Study Program (Himapaksi) Faculty of Teacher Training and Science Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held the Final of the UNS Accounting Competition (OPA) online via Zoom Meeting on Sunday (2/10/2022).
OPA UNS is a competition held by the Accounting Education Study Program Student Association (Himapaksi). There are 2 categories of competitions held. First is an essay competition with the theme “Student Innovation for the Country in the Era of Generation Z”. Second is the SMA/K Accounting Competition with the theme “Raise of Intelligence, Act As a Super Accounting”.
The activity was opened with remarks by the Dean of FKIP UNS represented by Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si., as Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FKIP UNS. In his speech, Prof. Slamet expressed his gratitude and pride for this competition.
“We ask for permission to represent the Dean because he is on an assignment trip. We express our gratitude and pride and happiness on this day I am very touched. That every day there is no day that we want to spare this time. All the time is useful for our good, forging us, and improving ourselves as future leaders who excel,” said Prof. Slamet.
The final competition was attended by participants from SMA Negeri 1 Boyolali, SMK Unggul Sakti, SMA Negeri 1 Andong, SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta, SMA Xaverius 1 Jambi, SMK Negeri 2 Pacitan, SMA Regina Pacis, and SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta.
The activity began with a presentation round for each school according to the draw results. Then, the competition continued with a debate round.
SMA Regina Pacis Surakarta won the competition for the SMA category and SMK Negeri 2 Pacitan for the SMK category.
