FKIP – Muhammad Nasyrur R., Student of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta succeeded in making national level achievements, namely being the first winner of the 2022 digital poster and infographic competition.
The competition was organized by the Agrotechnology Student Association, Faculty of Agriculture, Singaperbangsa University, Karawang. This competition is held as an annual work program of the Agrotechnology Student Association, Faculty of Agriculture, Singaperbangsa University. The competition was held on September 9 – October 6 and when it was announced, Nasyrur managed to get a champion.
Nasyrur explained that the competition was quite tight because it was attended by more than 40 participants from various universities in Indonesia, namely Sebelas Maret University, Singaperbangsa Karawang University, Gadjah Mada University, IPB University, Jakarta State University, Ten November Institute of Technology, and various universities, others in Indonesia.
Nasyrur explained that in this competition he presented a work entitled “Integrated Agricultural Systems Based on Biogas.
“In this competition, I made a poster with the title ‘Biogas-Based Integrated Agricultural System’.
This system is carried out through processing animal waste and various other wastes into biogas,” explained Nasyrur to the fkip.uns.ac.id team on Monday (17/10/2022).

Nasyrur added that biogas waste treatment can provide many benefits.
“In addition to producing energy sources, another product that is no less useful is biogas dregs (bio-slurry). Bio-slurry is the final product of sewage treatment in the form of sludge which is very useful as a source of nutrients for plants. In addition, bio-slurry is a high-quality organic fertilizer rich in humus. Not only has good nutritional content, but bio-slurry also contains beneficial microbes “probiotics” that are beneficial for increasing fertility and health of agricultural land. This increases the quality and quantity of the
crop. As a bio-slurry quality organic fertilizer, it is safe for humans to use for fertilizing various food crops, vegetables, flowers, fruit, and plantation crops,” continued Nasyrur.
Nasyrur also shared his feelings about winning this competition.
“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful and proud to be the best in this competition, and to bring the good name of UNS to the national level,” said Nasyrur.
At the end of the interview, Nasyrur expressed his hope for his future ideas.
“Through the ideas on the posters that I made, I hope they can be useful for the agricultural sector in the era of climate change. With this achievement, hopefully, it will be a race for me to keep learning and trying so that in the next competition I can get maximum results,” concluded Nasyrur.
