FKIP – Alfi Lutfiana Zahroni, Student of the Study Program (Prodi) of Indonesian Language and Literature Education (PBSI) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta won 1st place in the National Preamble Competition of the Gebyar Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW.

This National Dai Competition is a competition organized by the Rumah Qur’an Al-Khansa Foundation, Pandan, Central Tapanuli commemorating the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This competition was held virtually via the Rumah Qur’an Al-Khansa Pandan Youtube channel which was announced on Sunday (16/10/2022).

In this competition, Alfi delivered material on the role of youth in spreading Islam amid a pandemic. When interviewed by the fkip.uns.ac.id team, Alfi admitted that he was grateful for having won 1st place in the National Dai Competition.

“Alhamdulillah, Barakallah, at first I didn’t expect it, because this is a new blessing that needs to be grateful for, to be able to win reward as the winner of the national level dai competition,” he said.

Alfi revealed his motivation for participating in this preaching competition was to spread Islamic symbols, gain experience, and maintain the dignity of Islam.

“My motivation is to spread the message of Islam, gain experience from participating in national level competitions, and maintain the dignity of Islam amidst the turmoil of increasingly complex life problems,” he said.

At the end of the interview, Alfi conveyed his impression after participating in this competition. According to him, this competition was very memorable because it added insight and experience and at the same time learned a lot about the world of preachers and Islam.

“Hopefully activities like this will always be held every year so that the spread of Islam will continue for the benefit of Muslims. This competition is memorable in my opinion because it was the first time I can win at the national level, it’s not a matter of the reward, but the form of experience and learning a lot about the world from Islamic preachers. what it’s like. With this competition, I can also add to my insight regarding Islamic knowledge,” he said.
