FKIP – Early Childhood Education Teacher Education Study Program (PG-PAUD) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta held an Art Show on Thursday (22/12/2022). The performance was held offline in the Old Hall of Campus IV FKIP UNS.

The 2022 Art Performance is an event featuring a musical drama from Semester 3 Students of the PG-PAUD FKIP UNS Study Program which is routinely held every year. This performance is the output of the Music, Movement, and Song Arts course which is expected to be a forum for developing student creativity in the arts.

Contacted by the fkip.uns.ac.id Journalist Team, Thalita Ghea Shafa who was the Art Director at this event explained that the 2022 Art Show had the theme “History of Nawasena Dirgantara”.

“In 2022, the 2022 Art Show by semester 3 students of the PG PAUD FKIP UNS Study Program carries the theme History of Nawasena Dirgantara. This theme contains a hope where the appearance of various stories in the form of musical dramas is expected to be able to show a story of a journey to a brightness that is obtained from a good message in each appearance of musical dramas,” explained Thalita when contacted by the Journalist Team flip.uns.ac.id on Tuesday (2/1/2023).

In the 2022 Art Show, the 3rd-semester students of the PG-PAUD Study Program FKIP UNS were divided according to class division, namely class A and class B. The titles of the musical drama presented by the 3A class group included Difference Is Beautiful, The Happening of the Rainbow, The Adventures of Sherina, and The Legend Dry Princess. Meanwhile, the titles of the musical dramas presented by the class 3B group are Lutung Kasarung, Batu Belah Batu Batangkup, and Pika Pika Kuro’s Return. Thalita hopes that this activity can continue to be carried out by developing the quality of the dishes displayed.

“This activity is a place to express oneself through art. This activity is also a place to develop creativity, especially in the arts, to train cohesiveness and cooperation, and to improve our kinship. Therefore, we hope that this activity can continue to be carried out by the PG-PAUD Study Program, FKIP UNS, with improvements that will improve the quality of the presentations displayed,” Thalita hoped.
