FKIP – History Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta received a visit from History Education Study Program, PGRI Yogyakarta University (UPY) on Wednesday (25/1/2023) in Meeting Room 1 Building F FKIP UNS. The UPY History Education Study Program group consisted of 3 lecturers and 25 students.
The delegation was welcomed by the Head of the Study Program (Kaprodi), Lecturers, and Students of the History Education Study Program, FKIP UNS. The visit aims to establish cooperation between the two study programs in the fields of education, research, and community service.
The activity was opened with remarks by the Head of the History Education Study Program FKIP UNS, Dr. Sutiyah, M.Pd., M.Hum. followed by comments by the Head of the UPY History Education Study Program, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Birsyada, M.Pd. After that, the activity continued with a joint discussion session that discussed cooperation, learning, and quality assurance.
The discussions that were carried out resulted in a cooperation agreement, one of which was in the field of publication. The agreed results included exchanging reviewers, exploring reciprocal exchanges of lecturers, research activities, and community service.

On the same occasion, the History Education Study Program FKIP UNS and the History Education Study Program UPY signed an Implementation Agreement regarding Historical Dialogue and Comparative Study Study Program Quality Assurance. The Head of the UPY History Education Study Program, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Birsyada, M.Pd. and the Head of the History Education Study Program FKIP UNS, Dr. Sutiyah, M.Pd., M.Hum. carried out the signing.
Dr. Sutiyah as the Head of the History Education Study Program FKIP UNS hopes that the signing of the Implementation Agreement can be the opening act of cooperation in other fields between the two study programs.
