FKIP –  Wednesday (31/5/2023), the Faculty of Teaching and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS) Surakarta held a farewell party for SEA-Teacher Batch-9th program students from Ilo-Ilo Science and Technology University (ISATU), Philippines via offline in the Meeting Room of Building A Floor 2 of FKIP UNS.

Three students from ISATU Philippines took part in the SEA-Teacher Batch-9th program. The first student was Nathan Joel Amatorio from the Faculty of Education/Science. He carried out an educational internship at SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta accompanied by Febriani Sarwendah, A.N., M.Pd. as a field assistant lecturer (DPL) and Tri Mastuti Nanik Rahayu, S.Pd. and Pontjowati, S.Pd. as a tutor.

The second student is Mel Voltaire Crispolon, from the Faculty of Education/Information and Communication Technology. He did an educational internship at Surakarta 1 Public High School and was accompanied by Nurcahya Pradana Taufik Prakisya, S.Kom., M.Cs. In carrying out the training, he was guided by two tutors, Arni Ferra Sinatra, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Emi Budi Susilowati, S.Kom., M.Cs.

Meanwhile, the third student, Anthony B. Jimenez, from the Faculty of Education/Food Service Management, is carrying out an educational internship at SMK Negeri 7 Surakarta. Nur Rahini Aktarini, M.Pd. accompanied him as DPL as well as Ari Widjajanti, S.ST., and Eka Sugiyanti, S.Pd. as a tutor.

In his remarks, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc. as Dean of FKIP UNS represented by Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Sc. as Deputy Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs conveyed his congratulations to the three students who have completed the SEA-Teacher Batch-9th program. He also congratulated all parties who had participated in this activity.

“On behalf of the FKIP UNS leadership, we congratulate the students who have completed the SEA-Teacher Batch-9th program. Hopefully, the good practices obtained during the implementation of this program can add insight and experience for the common good. Through this program, we get academic exchanges and culture or culture with one another. We also thank the FKIP UNS IO Team for facilitating this program. Thank you also to DPL ladies, tutor teachers, and partner schools who have worked together to make this program successful,” said Prof. Slamet.

Arni Ferra Sinatra, S.Pd., M.Pd. as Deputy Principal for Curriculum who was present to give remarks representing the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta said that the students welcomed this program.

“Our students receive this program. They can exchange insights, experiences, and cultures. Alhamdulillah, the program runs smoothly. We apologize if there are errors during the implementation of this program. Hopefully, this program will have a good impact on all of us and in the future, it will be even better.” said Arni Ferra.
