FKIP – Undergraduate and Masters Program in Educational Technology (TP) Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta became the committee in the collegial meeting of the Association of Indonesian Educational Technology Study Programs (APS-TPI) from all over Indonesia for three days (27-29 July 2023). The meeting consisted of 6 programs: Visiting Lecture, APS-TPI Work Meeting, ICIQLE 2023 International Conference, TP Product Exhibition, Learning Media Contest, and Solo City Tour.

In his remarks, Dr. Agus Efendi, M.Pd, as chairman of the committee and at the same time Head of the FKIP UNS Educational Technology Masters Study Program submitted a report on the implementation of the 2023 APS-TPI Collegial Meeting activities.

“We have invited lecturers from the Educational Technology Study Program in Indonesia to participate in this routine collegial event which will be held at UNS Tower Ki Hajar Dewantara on July 27-29 2023. Universities that came to this event were 29 PTs with a total of 150 lecturers present,” said Dr. Efendi at the 2023 APS-TPI Working Meeting.

Furthermore, he also conveyed a series of activities for the 2023 APS-TPI Collegial Meeting.

“The activities on the first day consisted of Visiting Lecturers, which were held in a blended manner for undergraduate and postgraduate levels, then continued with the APS-TPI event. The discussion of material the visiting lecturer is about learning media, performance analysis, interventions in performance technology, performance technology in supporting MBKM implementation, 5 Main Points about Human Performance Technology and its significance in Educational Technology, training development, technology-based information and communication systems, curriculum development training, GPT Chat, and Mediocre Students,” added Dr. Effendi.

Then, he also explained the activities on the second day, which will be followed by the ICLIQE International Conference with the theme “Innovative Learning In the Age of Big Data” which presents experts in the field of Education science. On the third day, a Surakarta City Tour was held to introduce the local wisdom of the city of Surakarta to several historical places. This activity also closed the APS-TPI 2023 event.

Dean of FKIP UNS Dr. Mardiyana, M.Sc., said he welcomed the collegial meeting of the Indonesian Education Technology Study Program Association (APS-TPI).

“We very much welcome this activity because it can bring together all lecturers from the Educational Technology Study Program throughout Indonesia, apart from being a place to stay in touch, the activity is also filled with very positive activities to advance the Educational Technology Study Program so that in the future with various innovations it can create graduates who are ready to compete and have quality,” said Dr. Mardiyana.

Next, Dr. Mardiyana added that activities like this could strengthen friendship ties and support accreditation in Educational Technology Study Programs throughout Indonesia.

“With this kind of activity, we also hope that it can be a way to strengthen ties between members and can help and support each other in accreditation activities for the Educational Technology Study Program in each faculty in tertiary institutions throughout Indonesia so that they can get superior accreditation,” added Dr. Mardiyana.

On the occasion of closing the APS-TPI 2023 event, each participant from the attending university will sign a cooperation agreement between the Educational Technology Study Programs.
