FKIP – Three students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta managed to win 2nd place in a national level learning video competition with the title National Editing Competition (LENSA) 1.0 held by the Association of Science Education Study Program Students of Science Education (HPMS Pendidikan IPA ASE), Jember University. The three students came from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP UNS. They are Aprilia Rizki Arifah, Rahmatika Mulyani, and Sanggar Pawesti Regita Ningrum.
The competition, which was held through the Zoom Meeting on Sunday (1/8/20201), there were two categories of competitions, namely traditional dance and learning videos. Meanwhile, the theme raised in the learning video competition is “Development of Interactive Learning Media to Realize Creative and Competitive Young Generation Towards the Era of Society 5.0”.
In the learning video, Sanggar and the team provided material on the introduction of spatial shapes to grade 1 elementary school students, entitled “Learning Video to Recognize Building Spaces Using Various Concrete Objects”. Sanggar and the team hope that their learning videos can become interactive learning resources in distance learning.
“With this video, it is hoped that it can become a source of learning and can be used as an interactive learning medium, especially in the current state of online schools,” Sanggar explained.
In the future, they will continue to contribute in competitions related to the world of education to improve their abilities as prospective educators.
“In the future, we want to continue to be able to participate in competitions like this to improve our abilities. Of course, we also hope that our abilities and quality will improve and can be applied when we become teachers,” said Sanggar.
