FKIP – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Sebelas Maret University (UNS) Surakarta became the coordinator as well as the officer for the morning parade which was attended by all employees in the UNS environment. The morning parade was held through the Zoom Cloud Meeting application and broadcast on the official UNS Youtube channel on Monday (16/8/2021).

In order to fill the independence day, the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si, as the builder of the ceremony invited the entire UNS extended family to always remember the services of the heroes who with their body and soul sacrifices have succeeded in obtaining Indonesian independence. Dr. Mardiyana invites all elements of the campus to be able to contribute to providing solutions to problems in accordance with their respective fields.

“In the world of education, with the government’s program on Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), it is hoped that it can be one of the solutions to national problems by bringing our graduates closer to the world of work, and in accordance with the needs of the community. Also, according to the talents and interests of students,” explained Dr. Mardiyana.

He hopes that, by working together, the MBKM government program can be implemented as an effort for students to fulfill the profile of Pancasila so that it can be carried out properly, thus providing benefits to many people.

“With the Covid-19 pandemic, of course, the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka must be adjusted to the current conditions with many innovations by utilizing advances in information technology, which is developing very rapidly at this time,” he continued.

Meanwhile, the leader of the morning parade was Yunanto, S.T., M.Si. as the Administrative Coordinator of FKIP UNS. Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. as a builder, Prof. Dr. Munawir Yusuf, M.Psi. as Chair of the Academic Senate of FKIP UNS served as a reader of Pancasila, Dr. Djono, M.Pd. as Deputy Dean of Planning, Cooperation, Business, and Information FKIP UNS served as a reader of the 1945 Constitution, Dr. Dewi Kusuma Wardani, M.Sc. as the Deputy Dean of Human Resources, Finance, and Logistics FKIP UNS served as readers of the Panca Prasetya of the Indonesian Civil Service Corps, and Prof. Dr. Slamet Subiyantoro, M.Si. as the Deputy Dean of Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FKIP UNS served as a prayer reader.
